Which floor mats are better: carpet or rubber
I am trying to pick out floor mats for my MINl Cooper. l had carpet floor
mats in my Honda that worked just fine, but I am not sure if the Cooper
mats will hold up similarly. The rubber mats are supposedly ''all
weather'' ready. Actually the carpet MINl mats are about $20 more.
Hmmm, so, MINl Cooper owners, question: Do your feet slide around at
all on the rubber? Does the elevation of the rubber bother you while
driving?
rubber is the best because it wil withstand rain and mud and
can be washed easily and dried easily as well
KB has the right idea. In the summer, you have less crap on
your shoes; in the winter, you're dragging snow, slush. ice, and salt into
your car.
i would say rubber. it is non slip and really is 'all-weather'
! You can get rain, snow and dirt on it and they are easy clean just a
wipe with a floor cloth is easy, and does not get mud stains like a carpet
would.

definitely rubber. they can be cleaned far easier than carpet.

I use both
put the rubber ones over the carpet ones in the winter months when your
feet are full of snow
if its for a car.. Obviously rubber. carpet mats are cheaper
but they are cheaper for a reason. and yea rubber mats are ''supposedly''
all weather because they are. carpet mats get dirty so fast.
